Design, construct, validate and test new characterization techniques in real time (in-line), taking advantage of the effects generated by the interaction of light with matter, that is, in-line reo-optical techniques. In this sense, several in-line optical detectors (Turbidimeter, Rheo-Polarimeter, Colorimeter, Low-Angle Laser Light Scattering) were developed by our group and their application in the real-time characterization of the extrusion process has been the subject of our research in the past two decades.
