Researches focused on properties of interest during materials processing and/or application, based on computational simulations coupled to experimental data. This is achieved by the development, identification, validation, and application of (thermo-)mechanical constitutive models based on various experimental methods and apparatus. The Finite Element Method is applied for numerical simulations and full-field data (displacements/strains) are obtained via Digital Image Correlation.
