Description: The Bruker Model D8 Advance ECO X-ray Diffractometer is a θ-θ type system configured in Bragg-Brentano geometry. The X-ray source is a copper tube with a characteristic emission line of 1.54 Å / 8.047 keV (Cu-Kα1) and operates at a power of 1.0 kW (40 kV x 25 mA). This diffractometer has SSD 160 high-speed detector that allows rapid acquisition of diffraction patterns with high peak counts. It is equipped with a rotating sample holder suitable for powder diffraction technique. However, it is also possible to perform the diffraction of bulk samples.
